Community Innovation Grants for People Affected by Dementia, 2019

An opportunity is open to interested and eligible applicants to support community and health service providers to develop and implement innovative projects and/or introduce or build on new and creative approach for Albertans impacted by dementia (including people living with dementia and their caregivers). This Grant initiative, funded by Alberta Health provides 1 time funding for 1 or 2 year grants of a minimum $25,000.00 to a maximum of $75,000.00.

Undergraduate Summer Studentship Competition

The Scientific Office of the Seniors Health Strategic Clinical Network™ (SCN) is providing funds for an Undergraduate Summer Studentship Competition. The aim of this opportunity is to facilitate the pursuit of knowledge and build capacity related to the three priority areas of the Seniors Health SCN: Aging Brain Care, Frailty, Resilience, Aging-well: Late-life Transitions (FRAILTI), and Anticipating an Aging Alberta.

2019 Undergraduate Summer Studentship Award

This competition will support undergraduate student participation in research projects aligned with the Seniors Health SCN priority areas during the summer months of 2018.  Up to 5 awards will be available, providing a stipend of $1,500/month per applicant for up to 4 months (maximum $6,000 total per applicant).
