The influenza season officially ended on April 30, 2022. Influenza vaccine is no longer available for the 2021-2022 season. The 2022-2023 influenza immunization program will start in mid-October 2022.

As the best defence against influenza infection & illness, influenza immunization is recommended, annually, for all Albertans six months of age and older.

Consent for Influenza Immunization: For use at Alberta Health Services (AHS) influenza immunization programs. Use this form when a parent or alternate decision-maker is not able to be with the person being immunized at an AHS influenza immunization service. An alternate decision-maker could be an agent, guardian, specific decision-maker or co-decision-maker.
Videos
Pneumococcal immunization is also available for some individuals based on age and medical conditions. It protects against pneumococcal disease.
